Cristian Constantinescu entrepreneur with experience in private equity and consumer markets in CEE. Cristian founded Noriel, having built from scratch a market leader in toys retailing in Romania to EUR 40 mil T/O in 6 years. Cristian is currently investing from his investment company in entrepreneurial projects in the region.
Alexander Picker is the CEO of Komercijalna Banka Beograd since December 2015. Komercijalna Banka, Serbia’s second largest bank, majority owned by the Republic of Serbia, the EBRD, IFC and DEG, is scheduled to be privatized over the next years. Alexander’s 27 years of banking experience include CEO positions in banks in Austria, Bosnia & Hercegovina and Slovenia for Hypo Alpe Adria International, Serbia and Kazakhstan for UniCredit, as well as CRO and COO postings in Russia and Poland for Creditanstalt BV. He started his banking career in Project finance and was involved into the sale of Hypo Alpe Adria’s network bank to an investor in 2015. He holds a degree in law and Slavonic Studies.
RossAllardice is a partner in the private equity team of global law firm Dechert LLP. Ross has more than 15 years of experience advising domestic and international financial sponsors and private equity house clients in all stages of private equity finance. His practice ranges from assisting on all aspects of leveraged M&A, to restructuring matters, to portfolio companies. He represents parties across multiple industry sectors.
Bill has over 20 years' experience of deal making in the CEE region, both as an investor and as an advisor. Although based in CEE Equity’s office in Warsaw, he spends much of his time travelling in CEE / SEE.
His experience prior to joining CEE Equity includes working on energy privatisations and VC investments in Poland.
He joined CEE Equity in October 2013, and was initially responsible for 15 of the Fund’s 16 countries. He initiated and started the execution of the Fund’s first investment outside Poland – the partial buy-out of Hungary’s leading private university in December 2014.
His area of responsibility has now reduced slightly to Czech, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and all of former Yugoslavia.
His most recent completed deal is CEE Equity’s co-investment with Black Peak Capital into Walltopia. This fast growing Bulgarian company is the world leader in the manufacture and installation of indoor climbing walls.

• In Poland – Polenergia and 3 wind farms (one of which has already exited)
• In Czech – Energy 21
Bill has initiated and participated in several other potential energy deals which have not yet come to fruition.

Igor is a Partner at TPA. He is primarily involved in merger and acquisition advisory and valuations and works for clients from various sectors. Prior to joining TPA Igor worked wih Ernst & Young (1999- 2010), Komercni Banka and for Creditanstalt Investment Bank. He has been involved in many cross-border acquisitions and also acted as an privatisation advisor across CEE. Igor executed 100+ transactions, mostly cross-border.
Philip is responsible for the product, sales and marketing strategy of Intralinks’ Strategic Financials business. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the M&A Research Centre at Cass Business School, City, University of London. Prior to joining Intralinks in 2010, he worked for 17 years as an M&A investment banker and in management consulting. He began his career at Deloitte in London in the financial services practice and then worked at NatWest Markets Corporate Finance, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein and in corporate development for The Rank Group Plc, as well as founding an M&A consulting firm. Philip holds postgraduate degrees in Finance and Computer Science and a BA in Linguistics, from the University of London.

Krzysztof Urbański graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics in 1996. Since then, his career is devoted to mergers and acquisitions. He spent his first 8 years at the corporate finance advisory arm of mBank (Commerzbank Group) and the next 3 years at Societe Generale. He became Mergers and Acquisitions Director of Orange Polska in 2007 and restructured its capital group. The largest transactions he realized are: the acquisition of Eurobank and the disposals of Emitel and of Wirtualna Polska.

Laszlo Wolf supervises the corporate business of OTP Bank Plc including: treasury; SME and large corporations, project and agricultural financing, loans and syndications; and financial institutions and acquisitions.
After graduating at the University of Economics in Budapest in 1983, he started his banking carrier at the Hungarian National Bank in different positions. In 1991 he was managing director and the head of treasury in BNP-KH-Dresdner Bank in Budapest. In 1993 he joined OTP Bank as a managing director of treasury. Since 1994 he has held his present position as head of commercial banking division.
OTP Bank started its international expansion in 2001 under the supervison of Mr Wolf, by entering the Slovakian market, followed by successful acquisitions in Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia and Ukraine.
He is member of the board of OTP Bank, member of the supervisory board of DSK Bank, Bulgaria, president of the board of directors of OTP Banka, Serbia and vice president of the Confederation of Hungarian Employers.
Peter Deming is based in London, joined Warburg Pincus in 2007 and focuses on investments in the financial services sector. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Deming worked at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income Currency and Commodities Advisory group where he specialized in principal transactions in the consumer finance sector. He is a Board member of The Mutual Fund Store. Mr. Deming received a B.S. in management science and engineering from Stanford University.

Kerim Turkmen is a Partner of Mid Europa Partners, head of the Istanbul Office and responsible for sourcing, executing and monitoring investments. He is a member of Mid Europa’s Management and Investment Advisory Committees. Prior to joining Mid Europa in 2007, he was a Principal of GMT Communications Partners, a private equity fund specializing in the communications sector.Previously he was with Merrill Lynch, in its Investment Banking Division in London.
Alessandro Pasquale started his career in the Swiss confectionary Vialetto, owned by his family, where he made his first experiences holding responsibility in several different positions in the production department. In 2003 he moved in Czech Republic where he joined his father in running the family business of Karlovarské minrální vody (KMV), leading producer of mineral water in central Europe. Was appointed CEO of Dobra Voda, one Czech subsidiary, in 2005 and CEO of KMV in 2007. He actively drove the internationalization of the group acquiring in 2007 a small mineral water company in Austria that is now, after some year of strong development, challenging the market leader, and he opened several important export markets with Slovakia, Germany and Polland leading the group.
Under his leadership, in 2015 the group expanded in Hungary acquiring the interests in Kékkúti Ásványvíz Zrt. and Szentkirályi Ásványvíz Kft., leading hungarian bottled water producers.
Valeri is Partner with Axxess Capital, a leading private equity firm in South Eastern Europe with invested equity in excess of EUR 250M. Prior to that he was Partner with Bancroft Private Equity in Vienna and Investment Director with the Athens based private equity firm Global Finance. Valeri led and co-led many transactions in various countries and industries across South-Eastern Europe and Turkey.
Prior to moving to the Private Equity industry Valeri was running the largest paints& coatings company in Bulgaria (backed by private equity funds) as CEO where he completed a successful turnaround, increasing its market capitalization almost ten times.

Daniel Cheaib is the global head of the TMT transactions competence center at Arthur D. Little based in Vienna. Daniel has been working on the most important recent telecom transactions in CEE, for a wide range of strategic buyers/vendors, private investors and financing banks. He has written and participated at several studies on 5G developments. Prior to joining ADL, he worked in Paris for an M&A boutique focused in the TMT industry. Daniel holds a Master degree in finance from the EMLyon Business School, and a Bachelor degree in Mathematics.

Bruno Erbel is Investment Director at Marguerite. Since 2010 he supervised four investments for the Marguerite Fund in the offshore wind (C-Power / Belgium, Butendiek / Germany) and the transport (Zagreb Airport, N17/N18 Highway / Ireland) sectors. Previously, Bruno was responsible for bidding and developing concession & ppp projects on behalf of John Laing. Prior to that, he worked at the project finance department of Bouygues Construction where he was in charge of Central & Eastern Europe. Bruno is a graduate from ENPC and TUM. He has over 15 years’ experience in project finance and infrastructure investments.

Prior to UniCredit, Jana worked at ING Bank N.V. in London as a Director with responsibility for CEE Corporate and FI Syndicated Loans. Apart from loan syndication, Jana ‘s experience in banking covers restructuring, risk management and senior relationship roles.
