Ron Given is the Co-Managing Partner of the Wolf Theiss office in Warsaw. He previously served the firm as the head of the Croatia office and as a resident senior partner in the Czech Republic and Ukraine offices. He joined Wolf Theiss in 2008 after a long career as a corporate and banking partner with the international law firm Mayer Brown. He also served for several years as the general counsel of a NASDAQ-listed, Bermuda-based international insurance holding company.
Artur heads the Polish investment banking effort at Goldman Sachs and is the director of Goldman Sachs International, Warsaw Branch. He joined Goldman Sachs in 2006. In his role, he has originated and led several of the landmark transactions in the Polish/CEE market across products (M&A, ECM and DCM) and various industries. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Artur worked at Lehman Brothers and ABN AMRO. He earned an MBA from IESE Universidad de Navarra, Spain.
He has over 20 years of experience in investment banking in Poland and CEE gained in numerous privatizations, M&A and ECM transactions and private placements. He specializes in advisory to financial sector. Jacek Chwedoruk supervised the privatisation of the first Polish companies including the first five companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. He is a founding member of Polish Institute of Directors and a member of the Polish Business Roundtable. He joined Rothschild & Co in 1992.
Aleksander Kacprzyk is a co-founder and managing partner at Resource Partners, a consumer focused PE fund with €300+ million under management and currently investing from its second CEE fund.
Aleksander has been an active participant of private equity industry in CEE for almost 15 years specializing in consumer sectors, agriculture and healthcare. Before establishing Resource Partners, Aleksander was Director at The Carlyle Group responsible for Central and Eastern European buyout investments and Investment Director with Enterprise Investors. He has started his career at McKinsey &Co.
Aleksander holds MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and Master degrees from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota and Warsaw School of Economics. He is currently President of MIT Club of Poland.
He is Chairman of Supervisory Boards of Medical Center Mavit and Golpasz.
Paweł Padusiński is a Partner at Mid Europa Partners and has more than 10 years of private equity experience. Prior to joining the team in 2005, he worked for the corporate finance department at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Warsaw. While at Mid Europa, he was involved in various deals in healthcare (Luxmed, Diagnostyka, Alpha Medical), retail (Allegro, Żabka), manufacturing (Norican), and telecomunication (Bite).
Paweł holds an M.A. in Finance & Banking and M.A. in Strategic Management with Honours from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Mr. Mellinger is a founder and Managing Partner of ForeVest Capital Partners. Prior to forming ForeVest, he founded PineBridge Investments’ Central and Eastern European private equity business in 1998 and had overall responsibility for the firm’s private equity activities in the region. Mr. Mellinger has more than 35 years of investment experience. Previously, he was co-Head of the Financial Institutions at the EBRD. Mr. Mellinger is a graduate of the French École Nationale d’Administration and the Institut d’Études Politiques of Paris, and holds a degree in Economics and a Law Degree from La Sorbonne.
Tomasz Kwiecień graduated from Economic University in Cracow. At the beginning of his professional career he worked for Arthur Andersen and then Ernst & Young, at audit and corporate finance departments. Between 2004 and 2014 he was a managing director and country manager at Mezzanine Management, investment advisory firm advising a group of CEE-focussed Accession Mezzanine Funds. In Poland he was responsible for funds’ successful investments in, among others, Solaris Bus and Coach, Lux-Med or Masterlease. Outside of Poland he was responsible for funds’ investments in Jet Finance in Bulgaria or Norican in Denmark. Between 2015 and 2016 he was a Chief Executive Office of Aasa Polska, a fintech company offering consumer finance products. Since beginning of 2017 Tomasz is a board member of OEX, Warsaw Stock Exchange quoted company specialising in modern professional outsourcing services, within OEX’s board Tomasz is responsible for strategy and development.
Piotr Noceń is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Resource Partners. Prior, he was Director at The Carlyle Group and Investment Director and Partner at 3TS Capital Partners where he led and co-led 3 investments in telecom, media and financial services.
Before joining 3TS Capital Partners in 2001, from 1999 to 2000, Mr. Noceń was Executive in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Financial Advisory Services department in Warsaw, as part of the Central European team focusing on merger and acquisition lead advisory projects. He began his career in 1997 as Junior Equity Analyst at Deutsche Bank Research (formerly Deutsche Morgan Grenfell).
Piotr earned his M.Sc. in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics and has also completed post-graduate studies in International Economics at the same University.

He has a 10-year professional experience in private equity and investment banking in Warsaw and London. He has worked for such renowned institutions as Citigroup, Penta Investments, and CAG, and presently is working for MCI Capital/Private Equity Managers. During his professional career he has been involved in over 20 investment projects, both on the buy-side and the sell-side (as the owner or an advisor). The major transactions that he has taken part in are as follows: the take-over of 100% of the shares of Mobiltek/Dotpay and 51% of the shares of eCard, the investment in and then – the disposal of non-controlling interest in Netia, the preparation and the disposal of the shares of Mediasoft Polska (eBroker) and other projects attended by such companies as Bakalland, MK Żary, Promedica24 and the Iglokrak Group. He manages Helix Ventures Partners fund and is in charge of investment projects at the MCI.EuroVentures 1.0 fund.
Mark Storrie is Manger of Emerging Markets M&A at AIG, focussing on providing transactional liability insurance products for emerging markets and CEE transactions. Before joining AIG, Mark practised as a solicitor in London at Clifford Chance and Travers Smith for seven years, advising on M&A and private equity transactions globally.
Dorian has over 17 years of experience in private equity, restructuring and turnarounds in various countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Western Europe and Caucasus. Currently Dorian is responsible for managing EMSA Capital's CEE Special Situations Fund, targeting turnaround opportunities across CEE region, leading acquisitions, implementation of the turnaround plans across portfolio companies and managing exits. Previously involved in sourcing, analyzing and negotiation of a number of investment opportunities, performed valuations, prepared and implemented turnaround action plans and debt restructuring plans, worked on due diligence assignments. Industry experience includes chemicals, steel, construction materials, engineering, food processing, retail and IT Services. Dorian graduated from Academy of Economic Sciences in Bucharest with a degree in Finance, is a CFA Chartholder since 2006 and member of the CFA Institute and Turnaround Management Association.
Horst Ebhardt, Partner and Head of the Practice Group Corporate / M&A at Wolf Theiss, specializes in complex cross-border M&A transactions, privatizations and restructurings in Austria and throughout the CEE/SEE region. He regularly advises clients from a broad range of industries, including financial institutions, life sciences and private equity, on corporate finance and governance matters. Over the last 12 years, Horst has served as the lead attorney on approximately 90 transactions, several involving a value of more than EUR 1 billion. In addition to his practice, Horst teaches an M&A program at the law school of the University of Vienna. He is admitted in Austria and holds an LL.M. degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Paweł Gieryński is a Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Abris Capital Partners, a leading mid-market private equity fund for Central and Eastern Europe.
Mr. Muzyczyszyn joined Innova in 2008. He spent the previous three years as a Director of Darby Private Equity running the Polish office. His responsibilities included mezzanine financings and private equity investments across multiple sectors and countries in CEE. Prior to joining Darby, he spent over eight years in total with Allianz Specialized Investments, where he was part of a team managing the Emerging Europe Fund.
Mr. Muzyczyszyn’s chief responsibilities include leading the Portfolio function which oversees the development process for Innova’s investments. He is also engaged in coordinating the financing & debt raising for new investments and for portfolio companies. He has co-led investments in Meritum Bank, Expander Advisors and Bakalland/Delecta.
Mr. Muzyczyszyn holds a Master’s Degree (Distinction) in Law from the University of Warsaw and an MBA from Cass Business School in London. Leszek is a President of the Polish Private Equity Association.
Przemyslaw is a Managing Director and Head of the Polish office at Mezzanine Management, the first dedicated mezzanine fund manager for Central and Eastern Europe. It manages four funds with total funds under management of EUR 700 million and over 45 investments to date.
Prior to joining Mezzanine Management, Przemyslaw was with Ernst & Young ‘s Corporate Finance and Audit departments. He currently seats on boards of Dominium, PEM, Primocollect, Spearhead, Flucar and Netia.
Paweł Jacel, Investment Director, Credit Vale Investments
Mr Jacel is an Investment Director responsible for mezzanine, distressed and private equity investments at Credit Value Investments.
Credit Value Investment (CVI) is leading private debt investor in CEE with more than EUR 1bn assets under management.
Prior joining CVI in 2015, Pawel was working at Krokus PE, a Polish based private equity management company focused on mid market growth transaction.
Before joining private equity industry, Paweł gained experience in strategic consulting and investment banking advisory in both Polish and international organizations (Hexagon Capital, Boston Consulting Group and JP Morgan).
Pawel holds a Master Degree in Finance and Banking from University of Lodz and Bachelor of Business from Athlone Institute of Technology (Ireland). He is also CFA Charterholder.
Szymon Wałach, Managing Director, Retail Client Division, PKO Bank Polski
17 years of experience in banking sector. Since 2010 with PKO Bank Polski SA with initial assignment as Advisor to CEO, then since 2011 holding the position of Retail Client Division Managing Director with responsibilities for products portfolio and customers segments management within the retail area of the Bank. Since May 2016 till June 2017 Acting Managing Director of Strategy and Corporate Development Division as well.

Jakub Lerner, a Polish-qualified legal advisor, an English-qualified solicitor and US-qualified attorney is an Associated Partner at Noerr's Warsaw office.
Jakub’s practice focuses on M&A, complex commercial transactions, joint ventures, private equity and capital markets. Jakub has extensive experience in a range of share and asset acquisitions, mergers, leveraged and management buyouts and other forms of corporate restructurings. Jakub also advises in complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions and cross-border joint ventures.
Ludomir Biedecki has extensive experience in share and asset transactions, mergers and other forms of corporate combinations. He also specialises in capital markets, both equity and debt (IPOs, SPOs, management stock options programmes, public takeovers, squeeze-outs, delistings, issuances of bonds, etc.).
Bill has over 20 years' experience of deal making in the CEE region, both as an investor and as an advisor. Although based in CEE Equity’s office in Warsaw, he spends much of his time travelling in CEE / SEE.
He joined CEE Equity in October 2013, and was initially responsible for 15 of the Fund’s 16 countries. He initiated and started the execution of the Fund’s first investment outside Poland – the partial buy-out of Hungary’s leading private university in December 2014.
He also initiated and led the execution of the Fund’s co-investment with Black Peak Capital into Walltopia (the world leader in the manufacture and installation of indoor climbing walls); and Javna Razsvetljava, a Slovenian municipal lighting company.
His area of responsibility is now (slightly) more manageable - Czech, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania, Albania and all of former Yugoslavia.
His early career was as an officer in the British Army, which included active service in the Falkland Islands and the First Gulf War, for which he was awarded an MBE. He has an MA in Engineering from Cambridge University and an MBA from Henley Management College.
Kinga is Managing Partner and Founder of Experior Venture Fund, responsible for Fund’s operations, including deal sourcing, value creation and mentoring in investments, supervision of exits from investments, obtaining debt financing for portfolio companies as well as for relations with the Fund’s private investors and KFK.
Kinga has been working in investments and finance for the past 17 years. Her experience encompasses direct equity investments (private equity and mezzanine) as well as investment banking (M&A, capital raising in the form of private and public equity, financing) and investment supervision. Today she sits on the boards of XTRF Management Systems, Tourmedica, iTaxi, Luna Lang, WeGirls, Custom (Tylko), Perfect Dashboard and Cosmose.
Prior to EVF, she was Global Head of TMT at Raiffeisen Investment in Vienna from 2007 to 2009. She started her career in banking at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup, London) and followed on to become a Manager in Equity Capital Markets team of ING Barings, with responsibility for the EMEA region. In 2001-2007 she was a Principal Banker at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (London and Warsaw), where she led equity investment and structured financing projects across the TMT and infrastructure sectors. She was responsible for supervising selected assets of EBRD’s equity portfolio.
Kinga is the Vice President of the Polish PE Funds Association (PSIK). She is member of the European Innovation Council - High Level Group. She is active in supporting women led companies – Kinga is a mentor in Vital Voices and Foundation for Women Entrepreneurship.
Magda started her career at Innova Capital in 2004. Since then, she has gained experience in the private equity market, taking part in numerous projects, particularly in the field of TMT and related services.
Her focus has been on investments in new technologies and online markets. Magda’s latest transaction in this sector was Innova’s investment in the Netsprint Group, the Polish technological marketing and big data leader. She has also been a team leader and mentored new talent at the fund.
Magda Magnuszewska has been involved in the following Innova investments: Mercor, Meritum Bank, Libet, GTS/Benestra, Emitel, WP and the NetSprint Group.
Mrs. Magnuszewska graduated from Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management with Honors. She holds a master degree in Finance and Banking.

Krzysztof Urbański graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics in 1996. Since then, his career is devoted to mergers and acquisitions. He spent his first 8 years at the corporate finance advisory arm of mBank (Commerzbank Group) and the next 3 years at Societe Generale. He became Mergers and Acquisitions Director of Orange Polska in 2007 and restructured its capital group. The largest transactions he realized are: the acquisition of Eurobank and the disposals of Emitel and of Wirtualna Polska.
An entrepreneurial executive with strong experience in investment fund services, business development and commercial leadership, Fèmy joined JTC Luxembourg as a Director in 2016.
Prior to this, he was the Executive Managing Director and Conducting Officer of another Luxembourg based fund administrator and also worked in a senior role with a ‘big four’ firm and a telecoms group as well as founding his own consulting business in West Africa.
Fèmy currently has management responsibility for an international client portfolio and supervises a team involved in the administration of their associated accounting, tax and legal requirements and is a CSSF approved conduction officer.
He is also the Vice-President of Luxembourg Africa Investments Association (luxafrica.org), an association promoting Private Equity investments in Africa and a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Witold Radwanski is the Managing Partner at Krokus PE, a leading private equity group in Poland. Krokus PE has over the last twenty years managed four funds targeting expansion and buy-out investments in the Polish lower and mid-cap market. Prior to this experience, Witold Radwanski worked for EBRD, Chase and Allied Irish Banks. Witold Radwanski has a Masters Degree from John Hopkins University.
Małgorzata Bobrowska-Jarząbek is a co-founder and Investment Director at Resource Partners. Earlier, she was Associate at The Carlyle Group where she worked on transactions in consumer goods, retail and manufacturing and Project Director in International Expansion department of the largest Polish insurance company, PZU.
Before moving to financial services, Ms. Bobrowska-Jarząbek was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Chicago and Warsaw, where she focused on advising clients, among others, in consumer goods, retail and manufacturing.
Małgorzata received MBA from Kellogg School of Management as well as M.Sc. in International Management from CEMS (Community of European Management Schools) M.Sc. in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics.
Bartłomiej Gola, General Partner SpeedUp VC Group
He's involved in early-stage project implementation in the areas associated with martech, marketplace, IoT, fintech and hardware. He has a wealth of experience in the marketing & advertising industry – he went through all the career positions all the way up to managing partner of the BLT Group (co-founder and shareholder) and TEQUILA\ Poland. He's been in the startup sector for over 8 years; starting as an investor in several initiatives implemented by other business partners, he's a co-creator of about a dozen technology startups. His knowledge and experience help support portfolio companies in the business model development and testing, managing and creating business strategies as well as negotiations. He preps them for acquiring consecutive rounds of funding and supports them in the sale of shares, and cooperation with big business partners. For the last couple of years, Bartłomiej has been intensively supporting the development of the Polish startup community.
Brian Wardrop has been originating, executing, monitoring and exiting private equity investments in Central and Eastern Europe ("CEE") since 1997.
Mr. Wardrop is Managing Partner of ARX Equity Partners (“ARX”), which is an established private equity firm targeting middle-sized companies in the select countries of the CEE region. The firm has completed more than 25 investments and has been operating in the CEE region since the late 1990s. ARX recently completed the first close of its fourth managed fund (ARX CEE IV).
Mr. Wardrop has led ARX investments in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Slovenia.
Prior to joining ARX, Mr. Wardrop was a Principal and head of the Prague office with Baring Communications Equity (Emerging Europe). During his tenure at Baring Communications Equity, Mr. Wardrop played key roles in several telecommunications and media sector investments throughout the CEE region.
Mr. Wardrop holds a Master’s degree from Boston University and a Bachelor’s degree from Bishop’s University. Mr. Wardrop is also a graduate of the Owner/President Program at Harvard Business School.
Prior to joining Abris, Milorad spent 4 years with Copernicus Capital, where he focused on portfolio companies in the logistics and business services sectors. Prior to that, he worked as an investment analyst at ABN Amro, with a focus on companies in the Spanish market.
During his tenure at Abris, Milorad led the full investment cycle of portfolio company Siodemka SA, one of the leading Polish courier services businesses sold to DPD Poland. Milorad was also a member of the team that acquired Cargus International, one of the leading courier services businesses in Romania.
In Poland, Milorad is responsible for Etos, one of the leading apparel retailers selling under the brand name “Diverse”. More recently, he led Fund II’s investment into Patent Co, the leading animal nutrition solutions provider in Southeast Europe, as well as Fund III’s investment in Kopernikus Technology, the #2 cable TV and broadband services provider in Serbia.
Milorad is covering multiple CEE geographies and industries, with sector experience in logistics/express delivery, retail, manufacturing, and TMT.
Milorad is fluent in Polish, Serbian/Croatian, English and Spanish and is a graduate of Washington College, Maryland with an MBA from Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
Michał Kędzia concentrates on the FMCG, financial services and healthcare sectors and is also responsible for investments in Slovenia and Croatia. His most important projects to date include Dino, Intersport, Nu-Med and X-Trade Brokers. Prior to joining EI in 2007, Michał worked in the mergers and acquisitions team at Ernst & Young (today EY) in Warsaw.
Jacek Levernes is a senior executive with 20 years of leadership experience working across CEE, Europe and globally. His specialties include general management, operations, outsourcing & offshoring, strategy, business development, as well as investment growth and restructuring.
Currently he is the CEO of Finteco - a holding dedicated to building a specialized financial services and technology provider, owned by a leading global investment management firm and a premiere Polish/CEE private equity house.
He is also the co-founder and President of the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL) in Poland - an organization representing 220.000 sector jobs and 180 large investors like IBM, HP, Google, McKinsey, Infosys, Sony, Shell, Thomson Reuters, UBS, Credit Suisse, Citi, Bertelsmann, Cap Gemini, State Street, Accenture and Goldman Sachs.
He has studied, lived and worked in Norway, Poland, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Singapore and the USA.
Adrian Stanculescu Investment Manager
Adrian joined Abris in October 2014. Prior to this, Adrian worked for over 4 years for Resource Partners, a consumer-focused private equity fund based in Warsaw. There he was involved in all deal aspects, worked on several transactions in the CEE region (especially Romania and Baltic countries) and held Supervisory Board positions at two of Fund’s portfolio companies.
Before Resource Partners, Adrian worked for Deloitte Consulting and for the Romanian management consulting boutique Architected Business Solutions, where he was involved in various strategy and operations projects in sectors such as FMCG, oil and gas, IT&C distribution, utilities and real estate. Adrian started his professional career with Rompetrol in the Business Development department.
Adrian holds a Master Degree in Management of International Projects from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He is currently an MBA candidate at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Piotr Babieno – CEO of Bloober Team S.A. Since 2006, he has served as managing developer in companies creating games on next generation consoles. He is a lecturer, member of the Program Board and the co-creator of the program and the syllabus of the postgraduate course "European Academy of Games" organized by the Jagiellonian University in collaboration with the Academy of Mining and Metallurgy. In 2009, thanks to the extensive experience and knowledge of new technologies, has been appointed as an expert for "Technology Perspectives Krakow - Malopolska 2020" - Foresight.
Mr. Kulig joined Innova in 2001 from Heidrick & Struggles where he was a principal consultant and head of the e-business and professional services operations. Prior to that, Mr. Kulig worked for five years at Euronet Wordwide, where he was the Managing Director and Vice-President of the Polish subsidiary.
He co-led investments in Expander, PolCard S.A., Dom Finansowy QS, Meritum Bank, Provus and Pekaes. He is responsible for developing investments in financial services and B2B services across the region as well as maintaining relationships with the company’s business partners and LPs.
He is a graduate of International Trade & Finance, University of Łódź, Poland and the University of Kent, England. He holds an MBA from the University of Calgary, Canada. He is also a board member of the Polish Private Equity Association.
Christopher Kiermayr, a Partner at ERM based in Germany, has extensive experience in providing environmental, social and associated governance (ESG) advice including for mergers and acquisitions related due diligence (both buy-side and sell-side), post-acquisition value enhancement ESG reviews, strategy development and implementation support.
Christopher has provided ESG consulting support to national and multinational investors, developers, and manufacturers, across all industrial sectors including a focus on the Financial (Private Equity) and Chemical sectors across Europe, Asia, Africa and North and Central America. His projects have ranged from large multi-site, multi-jurisdictional transactions to developing corporate strategy around sustainability, corporate governance and management system development and implementation through to providing specific compliance and liability related solutions.
Bill has been investing in Eastern Europe since 1992. He joined EBRD as part of the Hungary and later telecoms teams just as the region was opening. He then moved to Baring Private Equity Partners (BPEP) as a partner to raise and invest the €86m Baring Central European Fund (BCEF). In 2004, he and his partners purchased the Central European business from BPEP, renaming it Baring Corilius Private Equity. The business was sold to SGAM in 2005 when he took over direct responsibility for the Eastern European investment process and its €156m fund.
After SGAM’s transformation into Amundi, he led the spin-out of the Eastern European direct investment business to create V4C. Bill has a track record of active involvement on the Boards of investee companies in Poland, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria. He is currently a member of EVCA’s Mid-Market Platform Council and the Professional Standards Committee.
Partner and the head of the Banking and Finance practice group of Wolf Theiss in Poland, Przemysław Kozdój focuses on advising and representing clients on a broad range of banking and finance related matters, especially in real estate finance, acquisition finance, and financial restructuring of companies.
He advises foreign and domestic banks and investors on various aspects of financial transactions and regulatory matters. He has participated in numerous real estate transactions, including the financing of some of the most prestigious shopping centres, office buildings, logistic centres, and hotels in Poland and Russia. He also provided advisory services during the opening of a branch of a foreign bank in Poland, and transfer of enterprise of a bank to a branch of its holding company. Przemysław's almost 20 years of experience includes financial restructuring of one of the largest Polish companies, with subsidiaries in several jurisdictions, and advising on various financial aspects of M&A and capital market transactions.
Przemysław graduated summa cum laude from the University of Warsaw. He is a legal adviser and a member of the Warsaw Bar Association in Warsaw. He speaks Polish, English and German fluently.
Kimberly Romaine works with a small number of clients in the private equity space providing corporate communications services such as marketing, public relations and investor relations. She has 16 years' experience in private equity research and publishing, and her 'sweetspot' is the mid-market in the UK and Central & Eastern Europe. Kimberly holds an MSc (Hons) in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a BSc from The College of New Jersey.

He started his career at KPMG, on a team responsible for audits of banks and financial institutions. From 2004 to 2010, he worked at the Controlling and Management Information Department of mBank S.A. In 2010, he joined the team of KGHM TFI S.A. as a Financial Controller. From 2011 to 2014 he was engaged by PKO BP BANKOWY PTE S.A., where he was responsible for the assessment and management of investment and operational risk and he was a member of the investment committee.
Maciej Ćwikiewicz currently heads PFR Ventures – Polish VC fund of funds with EUR600m in AuM. Previously he worked as an Investment Director at ARX Equity Partners where he focused on industrial and services sectors. Earlier, he gained experience at consulting companies, including McKinsey & Co and Kolaja & Partners (currently Alvarez & Marsal) where he led numerous complex turn-around projects, while also holding interim managerial positions. He gained international experience while working in the US and Indonesia. Maciej graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics and received MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Krzysztof Krawczyk is a Head of Warsaw office at CVC Capital Partners, one of the world’s leading private equity and investment advisory firms. He is also a board member of CVC's two Polish portfolio companies, PKP Energetyka and Zabka.
Krzysztof has over 20 years of successful track record in European private equity and he served on the boards of numerous private and publicly-listed companies in telecom, media, manufacturing, logistics and healthcare sectors throughout CEE region.
Prior to joining CVC, Krzysztof was Managing Partner at Innova Capital, a leading mid market private equity firm in Central Europe. Krzysztof also worked at Pioneer Investment, a Poland-based private equity fund, and Daiwa Institute of Research, an advisory arm of Japanese investment bank Daiwa. He is a Vice President and Treasurer of Polish Private Equity Association and co-founded and co-chaired its LBO Committee in the past.
Krzysztof holds a degree (with Honors) in Finance & Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is also an alumnus of Executive Program at Harvard Business School. Krzysztof has been awarded a PE Person of the Year for 2014 by members of Polish Private Equity Association.
Kaido Veske co-founded Livonia Partners in 2012. He started his career in London and New York working for investment bank Bear Stearns. Later he spent 3 years with Irving Place Capital in New York, focusing mainly on packaging, manufacturing, and consumer sectors. At Livonia, Kaido looks after the Ha Serv investment and spends most of his time on general industry and manufacturing industries.
Kaido holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA from INSEAD.
Ondřej joined Genesis Capital in 2007 from the position of Account Manager with Ogilvy Public Relations Prague where he specialized in financial sector clients. He began his cooperation with Genesis Capital as a turnaround manager in one of the portfolio companies Vltava.cz. Since then, he has been involved in GTH Catering, AZ KLIMA, Servodata, JRC Czech, HSW Signall and 3070 projects.
Elaine Green is Editor - EMEA Bureaus at Mergermarket and is responsible for managing the Bureaus in Europe and Middle East and African (EMEA) as well as being Global Head of Shipping. She has been with the company since its inception in 2000 and is an experienced reporter, editor and manager having worked both within the group and at wide range of other European publications.
