Winners of European M&A Awards 2015

Who walked away with a prize at Mergermarket's annual M&A awards in London?

Mergermarket named 48 winners at its annual European M&A Awards at Banqueting House in London on 8 December 2015. The winners were chosen by following a thorough process of analysis of Mergermarket league table data and scrutiny by an independent panel of judges.

Giovanni Amodeo, Global Editor in Chief at Mergermarket said: “We’ve seen the highest number of deals above US$50bn on record this year, testament to the confidence of management boards and shareholders pushing for bold M&A moves. Despite global factors like increasing interest rates on the horizon, continued low oil prices and Greece bailouts, these were no hindrance for dealmakers. There is still a strong pipeline of deals in the making, the New Year could start 2016 just as strong.”
