Marieke Blom is the Chief Economist of ING the Netherlands. Together with her team, she provides insight into the Dutch economy. They cover various economic themes, such as the circular economy and robotisation, as well as most industries. Her aim is to enable customers, colleagues and stakeholders to make better financial decisions. She regularly appears in the Dutch media.
Before joining ING, Marieke worked as a senior manager at a start-up Amsterdam consultancy “De Argumentenfabriek”. She was a political advisor at the Dutch Labour Party (PvdA). She started her career as a trainee at ABN AMRO in 1999.

Maarten joined RWC Partners as part of Hermes Focus Asset Management in September 2012. Maarten has been responsible for the strategy since February 2009 and oversees all aspects of the strategy's investment management. He has some 20 years of experience of investing in European-based companies and actively working with management and shareholders to help drive change. Prior to Hermes, Maarten worked at Robeco, where he managed their European Small Cap funds and was responsible for institutional mandates, as well as ABN AMRO.

Andreas Posavac is in charge of Ipreo’s M&A, governance and corporate advisory team in Europe. The team advises issuers and banks on governance trends, tender as well as proxy solicitation campaigns around AGMs/EGMs in Europe and MENA. His team supports issuers and banks with public takeovers and restructuring campaigns, where investor approval is required. His experience spans from friendly transactions to hostile deals where his team often supports issuers with market intelligence surrounding investor feedback, dissident shareholders and activism trends, as well as general support of IR professionals with advisory services consisting of Shareholder & Bondholder Identification, Investor Targeting and Perception Analytics, as well as intelligence on Corporate Governance and Sustainability topics.

Ivana Cvjetkovic initially joined the Georgeson team in London in 2011. After a short time away, she joined the Georgeson team in Rotterdam in 2017. Over the years she has worked on high profile AGMs such as Philips, Unilever, DSM, ING Group, and Heineken. In addition she had key involvement in the NN bid for Delta Lloyd, the FedEx acquisition of TNT, the Liberty Global bid for Ziggo, the América Móvil hostile partial offer for KPN, and the Wereldhave, Imtech and KPN Rights Issue. Recently she has advised on several activism campaigns in Europe. Ivana’s focus is on Corporate Governance and Corporate Actions in the Benelux market. Prior to re-joining the Georgeson team she worked in the CEO & Board practice of an executive search firm. She holds a Masters in European Private Law from the University of Amsterdam.

Thijs Alexander specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and equity capital market transactions.

Ivo Lurvink (1961) joined CVC Capital Partners in April 2015 as partner and head of the Amsterdam office.
From 2009 to March 2015 he was head of ING Group Investments, Acquisitions and Divestments. During this period he was responsible for the execution of a global EUR 40bn+ divestment programme of bank and insurance businesses.He joined the ING Group in 2007 as Managing Director at Parcom Capital, an investment subsidiary of ING.
Prior to joining ING, Ivo spent ten years (1997-2007) with Royal Philips Electronics where he held a number of positions including Head of Global M&A, Divisional CFO (Domestic Appliances & Personal Care) and Business Group CEO (Consumer Healthcare).
Ivo started his career with Booz Allen & Hamilton in Singapore as an associate in the strategy practice in 1987. In 1990 he joined Credit Suisse First Boston’s (CSFB) Investment Banking department in London. In 1993 he assumed the role of head of the Central European M&A team for CFSB (based inPrague).

Arjan’s passion is to build better and stronger businesses.
He joined EQT Partners as Director in April 2016 and is responsible for building up the Benelux Midmarket team.
Prior to joining EQT, Arjan worked 6 years as Investment Professional at H2 Equity Partners, and before that he worked 7 years as a Strategy & Operations Consultant at A.T. Kearney.
Arjan holds an MBA from INSEAD and a M.Sc. from Delft University of Technology.
Before joining Bridgepoint, Olivier worked at 3i where he focused exclusively on the Benelux market. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at McKinsey.
Olivier has a Masters Degree in Economics from the Erasmus University in the Netherlands.

Lars (1963) founded Main Corporate Finance in 1997. Before that he worked for ABN Amro Bank and the De Nationale Investeringsbank NV (currently NIB Capital NV, NIBC). At NIBC he successfully built up a large international media & entertainment portfolio.
After a decade of working as an entrepreneur within an institutional setting, it was time to become an entrepreneur himself. Lars’ keywords in being a successful professional are specialization, focus and establishing long-term relationships with clients.
Lars holds a MSc in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Groningen (RUG). Lars is married, lives in Amsterdam and has 3 children.

Edo joined Mentha Capital in March 2008, a year after its foundation. Prior thereto he was active for 8 years in the fields of mergers & acquisitions and business development. Hehas held (senior) positions at ABN AMRO Corporate Finance and the Mergers &Acquisitions team of Philips NV. Edo holds an MSc in Economics and Business from the University of Amsterdam and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa, Madrid.

Thomas de Villeneuve joined Apax Partners in 2001. He is responsible for investments in the TMT sector.
Thomas started his career in 1997 with the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked as a Project Leader, especially in the Media sector, both in Paris and New York.
Thomas graduated from HEC business school.

Gert Jan has founded H2 in 1991, and has recently transformed H2 in his private investment company. The H2 teams passion is to build better companies. Initially H2 has focussed on turnaround and operational improvements; today we aim to invest with a strong focus on growth. Gert Jan has introduced the firm's strong focus on operational value add approaches. The areas of focus include consumer goods and services, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution. Over the past year H2 has invested in 5 growth oriented companies in these areas.
Gert Jan had graduated from his studies at the Delft University of Technology and the Rotterdam School of Management. After his graduations Gert Jan joined McKinsey & Company to work in The Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. At McKinsey Gert Jan managed the world wide company diagnostic approach.

George joined 3i’s Banking Team in 2011, with a global financing remit that includes specific coverage of the Benelux market. He manages the firm's relationship with its financing institutions and provides debt financing advice and support to the international private equity activities of 3i and its portfolio companies.
He has 23 years of banking experience and has worked on financing transactions for many of 3i’s portfolio companies, including Action, Aspen Pumps, Audley Travel, Basic Fit, BoConcept, Cirtec Medical, Element, Eltel, ESG, Euro-Diesel, Hans Anders, Lekolar, MKM, OneMed, Q Holding and SLR.
Prior to 3i, George worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland, Bank of America and Barclays Capital, specializing in leveraged finance and sponsor coverage. He has also held positions in leveraged loan syndications and in corporate restructuring.
George holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College (University of London), a BSc (Hons) degree in Financial Services from UMIST and a MSc degree in Operational Research from Strathclyde University.

Jan-Hendrik Horsmeier specialises in public and private mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate advisory work. Jan-Hendrik recently worked on a number of significant public and private transactions, including Koninklijke Ten Cate, Ballast Nedam, HES International, ChemicaInvest, American Tower and Raet. Jan-Hendrik regularly works for private equity, energy and infrastructure and corporate clients.

Dennis is the M&A Manager EMEA North Zone responsible for AIG’s Mergers & Acquisitions Insurance Group focused on the Benelux, German speaking region and Nordics. He has underwritten and supervised more than 100 W&I and tax policies over the last 3 years. Dennis has more than 10 years M&A experience and joined AIG in 2014 after spending more than 7 years in the Investment Banking Industry where he worked at Citigroup in London focusing on Industrial and Private Equity clients and at Leonardo & Co. in Frankfurt and Madrid. Dennis graduated from University of Mannheim with a Master’s degree (focus on Risk Management and Corporate Finance), further he obtained a PhD degree in Finance from Technical University of Darmstadt.

Henk Bijl (1969) is Managing Director at Aon Strategic Advisors & Transaction Solutions (Benelux)
After obtaining his law degree at Erasmus University, he started working for the International Marketing and Steering department at the head office of Gerling Konzern Allgemeine in Cologne. He worked on the geographical expansion of the company, especially in Asia.
Returning to his roots, he started working for Aon Netherlands as from 1st January 2000, where he is responsible for the development of the market for Transaction Liability products such as warranty & indemnity insurance. Moreover, he conducts insurance due diligences for strategic and private equity companies. Henk is also the co-leader of the Aon Transaction Solution Group – EMEA.

He has over 25 years of Management experience and 22 years of International experience. Prior to HPE, Harry spent 17 years at the Walt Disney Company, where he served as Executive Vice President at Disney Consumer Products in a global management role out of Los Angeles and in European management roles out of Paris. He also served at Nutricia (now Danone) in the Netherlands and Unilever in Australia in Sales&Marketing and Logistics roles.

Joeri is a Principal in AlpInvest’s co-investment team and based in Amsterdam. He is responsible for investment sourcing, transaction due diligence and documentation and portfolio company monitoring. Since joining AlpInvest in 2012, Joeri led multiple investments in both Europe and emerging markets. Furthermore he serves on the Board of Directors of several portfolio companies. Prior to joining AlpInvest, Joeri worked at McKinsey & Company.
