CloseIgor is a Partner at TPA. He is primarily involved in merger and acquisition advisory and valuations and works for clients from various sectors. Prior to joining TPA Igor worked wih Ernst & Young (1999- 2010), Komercni Banka and for Creditanstalt Investment Bank. He has been involved in many cross-border acquisitions and also acted as an privatisation advisor across CEE. Igor executed 100+ transactions, mostly cross-border.
Catherine Ford is a consultant editor to event programmes, and engaged in the development of timely editorial content for global corporate finance, M&A and capital markets related conferences and events. She routinely moderates discussion panels at conferences across the region. She has worked for Acuris since early 2002, holding a number of senior editorial roles in the company’s European, US and Asia-Pacific head offices.
Bill has over 20 years' experience of deal making in the CEE region, both as an investor and as an advisor. Although based in CEE Equity’s office in Warsaw, he spends much of his time travelling in CEE / SEE.
His experience prior to joining CEE Equity includes working on energy privatisations and VC investments in Poland.
He joined CEE Equity in October 2013, and was initially responsible for 15 of the Fund’s 16 countries. He initiated and started the execution of the Fund’s first investment outside Poland – the partial buy-out of Hungary’s leading private university in December 2014.
His area of responsibility has now reduced slightly to Czech, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and all of former Yugoslavia.
His most recent completed deal is CEE Equity’s co-investment with Black Peak Capital into Walltopia. This fast growing Bulgarian company is the world leader in the manufacture and installation of indoor climbing walls.
CEE Equity has already made 5 energy investments in CEE:
• In Poland – Polenergia and 3 wind farms (one of which has already exited)
• In Czech – Energy 21
Bill has initiated and participated in several other potential energy deals which have not yet come to fruition.
Bill is a member of the Supervisory Boards of Walltoipa AD and Central European Education Holding Zrt.
Marcela is currently the Executive Vice President Company of CEFC Group (Europe) Compan. She has previously been the Executive Director and CEO, of TV Barrandov Group, Executive Director of Médea Group as well as advisor to the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic
