Krzysztof is a Senior Partner and a co-owner at Innova Capital, a leading mid-market private equity firm in Central Europe. He has over 17 years of experience in private equity and capital markets.
At Innova Capital, Krzysztof is responsible for developing investments in financial services and B2B services across the region as well as maintaining relationships with the company’s business partners and LPs and fundraising process for the Fund. Krzysztof has strong experience in European private equity and a proven track record of active engagements in numerous transactions throughout the region.
Krzysztof led or oversaw investments in Polcard, Meritum, Expander, Provus, PEKAES and PeP. He has also sat on the non-executive boards of Neomedic, WP, PEKAES and PeP.
Before joining Innova, he served a position of Vice – President & Managing Director in Euronet Services Poland. He previously worked as a Principal Consultant and Head of the e-business and professional services operations in Heidrick & Struggles.
Krzysztof holds an MBA from the University of Calgary in Canada and graduated from the University of Kent in Canterbury, England. Since 2018 he’s been a member of the Polish Business Roundtable (PBR).
Deimantė Korsakaitė is an Executive Partner and IC member of €200mn target size PE fund INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund (with a hard cap of €300mn) managed by the leading asset management group in the Baltics – Invalda INVL. Active since 1991 Invalda INVL boasts 28 years worth of experience in managing PE assets in the Baltic countries and CEE landscape while developing companies into best-in-class market leaders. In February 2019, Invalda INVL held first closing of INVL Baltic Sea Growth Fund at €106mn, making it the largest private equity fund for the Baltic region today.
Deimante as well serves as a Board Member of Lithuanian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.
Before joining INVL Asset Management Deimante began her career at another one of the largest PE firms in Lithuania at the time, later joining one of the top pan-Baltic law firm’s TGS Baltic. As an Associate Partner she co-headed the firm’s M&A practice group, advising clients on deals with a combined value of c. EUR 2 billion.
Pawel is Principal responsible for direct lending and private equity investments at CVI Dom Maklerski (CVI).

Pawel has over 10 years investment experience and participated in over 20 private debt and private equity transactions.
Prior joining CVI Pawel was working at Krokus PE, a Polish based private equity company focused on mid-market growth transaction. Before joining private equity industry, Paweł gained experience in strategic consulting and investment banking advisory in both Polish and international organizations (Hexagon Capital, Boston Consulting Group and JP Morgan).
Pawel holds a Master Degree in Finance and Banking from University of Lodz and Bachelor of Business from Athlone Institute of Technology (Ireland). He is also CFA Charterholder.
Mr. Bartos joined Innova in 2004 from Allianz Specialized Investments as a Head of Office in Warsaw. Prior to that, he worked in the investment banking and capital markets at the Commerzbank Group and the Polish Development Bank. During that time, Andrzej was involved in scores of IPOs, equity financings, corporate and privatization advisory projects.
His principal area of responsibility is Commercial Manufacturing investments. Due to his extensive experience within Polish public markets, he is actively involved in any transactions involving the public markets. He co-led the investments in EBCC, Fuchosa, Donako, Libet, Trimo and Profim. He was responsible for the successful IPO of ACE on the WSE in 2007.
Mr. Bartos graduated from Warsaw School of Economics, and he holds a number of professional qualifications, including Securities Broker’s license and postgraduate executive training from INSEAD, France. Mr. Bartos established the first Polish Management Buy-Out Club, a gathering of over 70 local executives.
Christopher Mertlitz joined W. P. Carey's European Investments Team in 2011 and currently serves as Executive Director. Prior to joining the firm, Chris worked in various industry sectors including engineering, energy and information technology in Austria and Germany.
Since joining W. P. Carey, he has been directly involved in the structuring and closing of more than €1.5 billion in sale and leaseback, net lease and build to suit investments across Europe, especially in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and the U.K. He has extensive experience acquiring office, industrial and automotive retail assets, and particular expertise in financial modelling and complex credit underwriting.
Chris graduated summa cum laude from Oxford University with an MEng in Engineering, Economics and Management where he was also a scholar. He is fluent in German.
Krzysztof Krawczyk is a Head of Warsaw office at CVC Capital Partners, one of the world’s leading private equity and investment advisory firms. He is also a board member of CVC's two Polish portfolio companies, PKP Energetyka and Zabka.
Krzysztof has over 20 years of successful track record in European private equity and he served on the boards of numerous private and publicly-listed companies in telecom, media, manufacturing, logistics and healthcare sectors throughout CEE region.
Prior to joining CVC, Krzysztof was Managing Partner at Innova Capital, a leading mid market private equity firm in Central Europe. Krzysztof also worked at Pioneer Investment, a Poland-based private equity fund, and Daiwa Institute of Research, an advisory arm of Japanese investment bank Daiwa. He is a Vice President and Treasurer of Polish Private Equity Association and co-founded and co-chaired its LBO Committee in the past.
Krzysztof holds a degree (with Honors) in Finance & Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics. He is also an alumnus of Executive Program at Harvard Business School. Krzysztof has been awarded a PE Person of the Year for 2014 by members of Polish Private Equity Association.
Przemyslaw is a Managing Director and Head of the Polish office at Mezzanine Management, the first dedicated mezzanine fund manager for Central and Eastern Europe. It manages four funds with total funds under management of EUR 700 million and over 45 investments to date.
Prior to joining Mezzanine Management, Przemyslaw was with Ernst & Young ‘s Corporate Finance and Audit departments. He currently seats on boards of Dominium, PEM, Primocollect, Spearhead, Flucar and Netia.
Mr. Mellinger is a founder and Managing Partner of ForeVest Capital Partners. Prior to forming ForeVest, he founded PineBridge Investments’ Central and Eastern European private equity business in 1998 and had overall responsibility for the firm’s private equity activities in the region. Mr. Mellinger has more than 35 years of investment experience. Previously, he was co-Head of the Financial Institutions at the EBRD. Mr. Mellinger is a graduate of the French École Nationale d’Administration and the Institut d’Études Politiques of Paris, and holds a degree in Economics and a Law Degree from La Sorbonne.
Based in Vienna, Austria, Jon Nighswander is a partner at Schottentor Capital and a distressed debt investor with over two decades of experience working with lenders and debt-holders seeking to recover value. Jon began his career in Central and EasternEurope leading privatization and advisory projects in Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and the Balkans. He subsequently spent a decade as a Managing Director in the US based business advisory practice of a global turnaround management firm, where he advised private equity sponsors and other stakeholders in a number of high-profile restructurings and acquisitions. In 2011 Jon returned to CEE to join a private equity group acquiring distressed assets in the region, including investments in Poland and Romania. In 2017 he and a partner teamed up with NewYork-based Chatham Lane Capital to create Schottentor Capital, an alternative asset management platform focusing on distressed debt opportunities in CEE, Spain and Italy.
Matthew is the Co-Managing Partner at Mid Europa Partners. He co-chairs the Investment Committee and Management Committee of the firm. He is also co-head of the Warsaw office.
Prior to joining the team, he worked in the leveraged finance team at Merrill Lynch in London. Previously, he worked in the M&A department at J.P. Morgan in London and New York. Matthew began his career in New York where he worked at Merrill Lynch and TLC Capital Partners, the investment firm of Reginald F. Lewis.
Peeter Saks is the Managing Partner of BaltCap and Member of the Management Board of FinanceEstonia. BaltCap is the leading private equity firm focusing on mid-market buyout and expansion capital investments the Baltic States. BaltCap has strong presence in all three Baltic countries with local offices and experienced team of 20 investment professionals. To date BaltCap has managed several generations of private equity, growth capital and infrastructure funds with total capital of EUR 300 million and has made over 75 investments and 40 exits in various sectors across the Baltics. Peeter’s past positions include CEO of the Baltic investment bank Suprema Securities, Chairman of Tallinn Stock Exchange and Manager at Price Waterhouse. Mr Saks received his MA in Economics from the Tallinn Technical University and additional education from INSEAD and HBS.
Małgorzata Bobrowska-Jarząbek is a co-founder and Investment Director at Resource Partners. Earlier, she was Associate at The Carlyle Group where she worked on transactions in consumer goods, retail and manufacturing and Project Director in International Expansion department of the largest Polish insurance company, PZU.
Before moving to financial services, Ms. Bobrowska-Jarząbek was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Chicago and Warsaw, where she focused on advising clients, among others, in consumer goods, retail and manufacturing.
Małgorzata received MBA from Kellogg School of Management as well as M.Sc. in International Management from CEMS (Community of European Management Schools) M.Sc. in Finance and Banking from the Warsaw School of Economics.
Annemarie is an Investment Director with the Polish Development Fund group, where she is responsible for investments in the Private Equity funds and international relations.
Prior to her current role, Annemarie spent six years working at the BNP Paribas group in London - in its Asset Management arm and at the Investment Bank. Annemarie holds a Masters degree in Strategic Management from Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland.
Entrepreneur and manager with strong academic background: PhD in law, MA in law and finance. Prior to Sun Investment Group, Rafal worked as a lawyer in companies such as Baker McKenzie and Polpharma, among others, where he gained in-depth regional knowledge of equity capital markets, cross-border transactions, debt capital markets, public and private M&A transactions, project finance and debt restructuring.
William R Watson, is the Managing Partner of Value4Capital, a Poland and Central European focused private equity firm. Bill began investing in central Europe in 1992 with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He continued with Baring Private Equity Partners from 1997 and Société Générale Asset Management from 2005. In October 2011 he and his partners spun-out with the fund raised under the SGAM brand to become Value4Capital. They recently completed fundraising for their €91m V4C Poland Plus Fund, which they are currently investing. A Canadian and French citizen, he has been a board member at portfolio companies across central Europe and played an active role in the industry as a member of Invest Europe’s Mid-Market Platform Council from 2012 to 2018 and a member and then Chairman of its Professional Standards Committee.
Kinga is Managing Partner and Founder of Experior Venture Fund, responsible for Fund’s operations, including deal sourcing, value creation and mentoring in investments, supervision of exits from investments, obtaining debt financing for portfolio companies as well as for relations with the Fund’s private investors and KFK.
Kinga has been working in investments and finance for the past 17 years. Her experience encompasses direct equity investments (private equity and mezzanine) as well as investment banking (M&A, capital raising in the form of private and public equity, financing) and investment supervision. Today she sits on the boards of XTRF Management Systems, Tourmedica, iTaxi, Luna Lang, WeGirls, Custom (Tylko), Perfect Dashboard and Cosmose.
Prior to EVF, she was Global Head of TMT at Raiffeisen Investment in Vienna from 2007 to 2009. She started her career in banking at Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup, London) and followed on to become a Manager in Equity Capital Markets team of ING Barings, with responsibility for the EMEA region. In 2001-2007 she was a Principal Banker at European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (London and Warsaw), where she led equity investment and structured financing projects across the TMT and infrastructure sectors. She was responsible for supervising selected assets of EBRD’s equity portfolio.
Kinga is the Vice President of the Polish PE Funds Association (PSIK). She is member of the European Innovation Council - High Level Group. She is active in supporting women led companies – Kinga is a mentor in Vital Voices and Foundation for Women Entrepreneurship.
Pablo is Global Head Mergers + Acquisitions with Kuehne + Nagel, one of the world's leading logistics providers with more than 80,000 employees and a footprint of 1,300 offices in over 100 countries. Kuehne + Nagel completes around 3-5 acquisitions per year globally. Prior to joining Kuehne + Nagel, Pablo was an M&A advisor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland and Australia. Pablo holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich and has passed all CFA exams.
Adrian Stanculescu Investment Manager
Adrian joined Abris in October 2014. Prior to this, Adrian worked for over 4 years for Resource Partners, a consumer-focused private equity fund based in Warsaw. There he was involved in all deal aspects, worked on several transactions in the CEE region (especially Romania and Baltic countries) and held Supervisory Board positions at two of Fund’s portfolio companies.
Before Resource Partners, Adrian worked for Deloitte Consulting and for the Romanian management consulting boutique Architected Business Solutions, where he was involved in various strategy and operations projects in sectors such as FMCG, oil and gas, IT&C distribution, utilities and real estate. Adrian started his professional career with Rompetrol in the Business Development department.
Adrian holds a Master Degree in Management of International Projects from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. He is currently an MBA candidate at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Richard Clegg is a transactional and regulatory lawyer working throughout Central & Eastern Europe and South Eastern Europe. He has particular specialization and expertise in structuring and negotiating transactions and projects across the regulated sectors and his experience includes advising on internationally significant infrastructure, telecom, energy and technology transactions. Richard has held senior positions in industry and private equity, as an M&A partner with an industrial and infrastructure fund, and as the Group General Counsel and Group Investment Director of Bulgaria Telecom.
Richard is a Solicitor in the Republic of Ireland, a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales, and a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Bulgaria.
Catherine Ford is the Editor-at-Large for the events division of Acuris. She is a consultant editor to event programmes, and engaged in the development of timely editorial content for global corporate finance, M&A and capital markets related conferences and events. She routinely moderates discussion panels at conferences across the region. She has worked for Acuris since early 2002, holding a number of senior editorial roles in the company’s European, US and Asia-Pacific head offices.
