Greg Davis serves as a Partner of EIV and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. He is actively involved in the firm’s strategy and is responsible for originating and stewarding investments across EIV’s areas of focus. Greg has 14 years of energy finance and investment experience including the upstream and midstream sectors. Greg most recently served as Investment Committee member and Managing Director at Kayne Anderson Energy Funds, where he contributed in all aspects of the business’ investment activities including portfolio company board participation and monitoring, investment sourcing and due diligence, and transaction structuring and execution. Prior to his 11-plus years at Kayne Anderson Energy Funds, Greg started his career at Credit Suisse’s investment banking Natural Resources Group, where he worked with current EIV Partner, David Finan. At Credit Suisse, Greg focused on mergers, acquisitions and capital market transactions.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating summa cum laude. Greg is actively involved in the Houston community, currently serving on the board of The Center for Hearing and Speech.
Tim Perry is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets division. He is the Co-Head of Global Oil & Gas, based in Houston. Mr. Perry joined Credit Suisse First Boston in June 1999 from JPMorgan, where he was a Vice President in the Oil and Gas Group. Mr. Perry holds a BSBA degree from the University of Arkansas (Fayetteville) and an MBA degree from Vanderbilt University.
Jason is a Partner in the Houston office of Deloitte Tax, LLP with over 23 years of experience in public accounting as a tax and M&A advisor, and he is a Regional Marketplace Leader for the M&A Transaction Services practice covering south central U.S. Prior to joining Deloitte , Jason spent several years with a former Big 5 accounting firm and was a member of their M&A advisory practice. Additionally, as a leader in Deloitte’s Energy M&A practice , he has advised clients, both public and private, in numerous energy industry M&A transactions, including several cross-border multinational acquisitions in the energy sector. In addition, Jason has worked with a number of private equity investors advising on transactions and fund level structuring issues.
Recent projects include due diligence and tax structuring for the acquisition of a US oilfield equipment company, the restructuring of an upstream O&G producer, the acquisition of large block of Texas gas producing properties, due diligence of a mid-stream gathering and processing company, and several private investments into public MLPs.
