After taking up the position as CEO of Offshore Incorporations (OIL) in 2009, Martin led the successful merger of OIL with Vistra. Since its creation in 2011, Martin has held the position of Group CEO. With over 15 years' experience leading medium and large companies across the Asia-Pacific region in offshore financial services, foreign exchange and asset management, Martin's strong background led to his appointment as CEO of Malaysian business development agency, the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre (IBFC). Martin launched his career in London with strategy consulting firm Bain & Company before relocating to Australia where he spent seven years managing the institutional funds management division at MLC, one of the largest fund managers in Australasia. Prior to his move to Asia, he was Regional Managing Director (Asia-Pacific) for Travelex PLC, the world's largest non-bank foreign exchange specialist. Martin holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of South Australia, and an MBA from the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.
Christian Mogge joined BC Partners in Geneva in 2005, relocated to Hamburg in 2009 and became a Partner in 2012. He is mainly focusing on the business services, media/technology and healthcare sectors and is a current board member of Springer Nature. He was also involved in the acquisitions of Allflex and Mergermarket. Among past portfolio companies, he contributed to the successful investments in Synlab, Bureau van Dijk and Amadeus.
Previously, Christian spent two years with the Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco. He holds degrees in management sciences and engineering from the London School of Economics and Stanford University. He speaks German, English and French.
Joachim was CEO at Primacom Holding GmbH, the 4th largest cable TV operator in Germany. Primacom serves mainly the Eastern region of Germany. Before taking over the CEO role at Primacom in July 2011 Joachim was COO at Unitymedia, 2nd largest CATV operator in Germany. Prior to this he was partner and managing director with The Boston Consulting Group, responsible for TIME business in Eastern Europe and Russia. Joachim brings more than 20 years of experience in telecoms, both on operational and consulting side.
Tobias covers financial sponsors for Goldman Sachs in Europe and is also responsible for our sponsor business in the German-speaking region. In addition, Tobias leads the execution of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, debt finance and restructuring projects for financial sponsor clients in selected situations. Before his current role, Tobias was responsible for the German Leveraged Finance business. He currently works in the London office and was previously in New York and Frankfurt. Tobias was named managing director in 2008. He earned a pre-diploma in economics from the University of Freiburg and a licentia rerum oeconomicus from the University of Basel.
Nikolaus is a Partner of Mid Europa Partners and is head of the Budapest office. He is responsible for deal sourcing, executing and monitoring of investments.
Prior to joining the team, he worked with Kohlberg, Kravis, Roberts & Co. in London, executing private equity investments across a broad range of sectors and geographies. Previously, he worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Capital Markets departments at Morgan Stanley in London.
Georg Schneider is a partner at the European law firm Noerr LLP. He heads the firm's Private Equity & Venture Capital Group. He advises German and foreign clients with respect to private equity investments, the legal and tax structuring of investment schemes or M&A transactions.
