Eric spearheads business development and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activity in the Benelux, a region where the private equity industry continues to develop and is increasingly considered one of the most attractive asset classes.
Eric has more than 25 years of experience advising clients on M&A, public take-overs, divestitures, capital raisings, public offerings, leveraged buyouts, privatizations and restructurings. His clients sit across numerous geographies and include large public companies, privately held companies, private equity investors and government entities from a range of industry sectors.
Prior to founding Lincoln’s Amsterdam office, Eric was a Managing Director within the financial advisory practice at Lazard, helping to establish its Amsterdam office, and also worked in the firm’s London and Paris offices. He started his career with ING, prior to its acquisition of Baring Brothers & Co.
Eric graduated in Business Administration from the Erasmus University Rotterdam and holds a CEMS Master degree.
Dominique Maes is a partner in the Corporate Finance Practice Group in the Brussels office. He leads the Corporate Practice of Baker McKenzie for the larger part of the EMEA Region and is a member of the EMEA Steering Committee of the M&A Practice Group. Dominique has been mentioned consistently over the past years as a leading corporate lawyer in Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Legal 500 and IFLR (International Financial Law review).
Dominique advises clients on Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Reorganizations and Corporate Compliance & Governance. His practice focuses on M&A transactions, buy-outs, private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate restructurings and general corporate issues.

Alexandrine Armstrong-Cerfontaine leads Goodwin’s Luxembourg practice and is a partner in the firm’s global Private Investment Fund group. Ms. Armstrong-Cerfontaine focuses on private equity fund formation and transactions, advising private equity sponsors on their investments and corporate finance, drawing on her experience on business management, corporate finance, restructuring, compensation, retirement plans and advising financial sponsors and management in setting-up complex compensation schemes as part of LBO transactions.
Ms. Armstrong-Cerfontaine has a general experience on syndicated financings (including leveraged financing and restructurings) and a particular experience on fund financings.
Ms. Armstrong-Cerfontaine is fluent in French and English.

Jerome joined Datasite (formerly Merrill Corporation) in 2008 as our first Sales Director in France, with an established track record in IT sales.
Based in Paris, he now heads up sales for France, Southern Europe, Benelux and other French-speaking countries, and is also involved in global product development and transformation initiatives for Datasite.
During his tenure at Datasite, Jerome has worked on more than 2,500 transactions/projects for M&A, financing, fundraising, restructuring, IPOs,and licensing deals.
Jerome holds an “Ingenieur-Maitre” diploma from Sceaux Paris XI University (France)and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Newcastle University(UK).
