Declan joined Deloitte in 2011 and has over 20 years of experience specializing in financial due diligence. He leads the Transaction Services team for the region.
Declan spent five years with a FTSE 100 company as finance director for EMEA and latterly group head of operations and interim managing director in the turnaround of underperforming units.
Declan is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and former chairman of the ICAEW MENA Corporate Finance Faculty, and holds an MBA.
Melissa Forbes-Miranda is a counsel in the firm’s UAE Corporate practice. Based in Dubai since 2008, Melissa has significant experience in advising on a broad range of cross-border and domestic corporate transactions.
Her practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate reorganisations and shareholder disputes. However, Melissa also regularly advises clients on various other types of corporate and commercial issues.
