Mamokete is the founder and CEO of Mamor Capital (“Mamor”) focusing on investments within Telecommunication Infrastructure, ICT value chain and Industrial sectors. Mamor has a hands-on approach in its investee companies and works alongside management to drive growth and strategic direction of the business. We specialise in unlocking value in businesses that can leverage digital infrastructure leadership, sustainable industrialisation and innovation.
Prior to this role, Mamokete was the Executive Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at Vodacom Group. Mamokete’s career journey spans across corporate finance advisory, private equity, mezzanine finance, infrastructure project finance and mergers and acquisitions. She has worked for Cazenove Corporate Finance, National Empowerment Fund, Vantage Capital and the Development Bank of Southern Africa.
She serves as an independent non-executive director for Bell Equipment Limited, a JSE listed company, where she serves as Chairman of Social Ethics and Transformation Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. She is an independent non-executive director of OUTsurance Holdings and a member of the Board Investment Committee. She is a director in Vulatel (Pty) Ltd and GIO Constructions and Plant Hire (Pty) Ltd.
She is a member of the IoDSA; A member of the IWFSA; and a member of ABSIP. She also serves as a board member in Business Engage, a non-profit organisation aimed at developing leadership and creating empowerment opportunities for women in the marketplace.

Hasnen Varawalla is a Managing Director at Absa Investment Baking based in London advising clients on corporate finance, capital markets and M&A.
He has over 20 years of investment banking experience spanning Africa, Asia and Emerging Europe having advised on over 100 capital markets and advisory assignments.
Prior to joining Absa he was the Head of New Markets Investment Banking at Renaissance Capital building their pan-emerging markets investment banking business. He also has been the Co-Chairman of the USD 630 mn Macquarie Renaissance Infrastructure Fund. He began his investment banking career at Credit Suisse in London in 1995, leaving in 2006 as a Managing Director.
