Kasper works as a Corporate Development Executive at Acuris, focused on both organic- and acquisitive growth initiatives across the company’s divisions.
He joined Mergermarket’s editorial team at the end of 2006 to cover the Nordic markets, moving up to become global assistant editor for the product before shifting to strategy related roles in 2013. To keep abreast of developments, Kasper still occasionally lends his byline to various editorial- and events teams within the Acuris suite.
Outside of Acuris, Kasper advises a London based venture capital firm on investment strategy and investor relations. In his spare time, he is working hard to convince his young daughter on the merits of downhill skiing, and is training for his first triathlon.
Tomas Ekman is a Partner and joined CVC in 2014. Tomas is based in Stockholm.
Prior to joining CVC, he was a partner and managing director at 3i, responsible for its Nordic business.
Tomas holds MSc degrees from the University of Strathclyde and Chalmers University of Technology, and an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.
Timo is a Co-Founder & Partner of Inventure. His areas of interest lie within enterprise software, future connectivity, cybersecurity and gaming. At Inventure, Timo focuses on the investment strategy and portfolio value creation. Timo is actively involved in crafting product and partnership strategies of our portfolio companies. He works closely with AImotive, Detectify, Now Interact, Glimr, Merus Power, and Spectral Engines. Previously, Timo acted as a private investor with Innocap Oy. Having started his career in the telecom sector with Nokia and Sonera, Timo has over 21 years of experience in coaching, managing and internationalizing early-stage companies.
Jokke's own private equity career started in the late 90s. After having worked with larger private equity transactions at Industri Kapital and CVC in Stockholm he wanted to apply my skills back home in Finland in the form of his own company.
After founding Intera in 2007, the business has grown into a driven team of over 10 professionals that has been involved in creating several success stories in Finland and other Nordic countries. Their goal is to be the best partner for growth driven entrepreneurs and management teams in the local market.
Janko is a partner in the Firm's Nordic Private Equity group and part of the Global M&A team. Janko has close to 20 years of experience, and he has led numerous cross-border transactions across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Janko works with leading Nordic and European private equity firms and their portfolio companies, international corporates, venture capital investors and technology and media companies.
Janko joined the Firm in 2002, and worked at the Stockholm office from 2003 to 2004, and again in 2012. Prior to joining White & Case, Janko worked as an in-house lawyer and at another law firm in Helsinki.
Kenneth Blomquist joined KPMG in 1999 and is a partner in Deal Advisory. He has managed due diligence engagements in Finland, as well as to a large extent co-ordinated and managed cross-border transaction due diligence engagements throughout the world.
Kenneth has vast experience from most industries, including working on tech transactions for almost 20 years. Over the years this has developed from pure tech transactions, including to a large extent for different TMT clients and private equity clients, into also technology driven transactions for industrial companies expanding and including more tech components into their operations.
He has an extensive experience of a large number of sectors ranging from financial institutions, service companies, to industrial industries. These include paper and packaging, technology, IT, internet and telecom sectors, heavy machinery, services, and chemicals.
Frimodig has been the CEO of CapMan since September 2017 and a management group Member since 2016. Frimodig joined CapMan from Summa Capital, where he worked for the past 12 years, most recently as Deputy Managing Partner. Prior to that, he served as an advisor for Alfred Berg and ABN Amro Corporate Finance. He has advised numerous Finnish and international companies in M&A and financing transactions over the course of his career.
Mr Möller has M&A and principal equity experience from Goldman Sachs and Permira. At Goldman Sachs, Mr. Möller spent seven years in the Principal Investment group and the M&A team in London and New York. He was promoted to Vice President in 2002. In January 2003 Mr Möller joined private equity firm Permira as an investment manager to help build Permira’s Nordic office in Stockholm. Mr Möller has significant transaction experience from a wide range of industries and geographies, both from a principal as well as from an advisory perspective. Mr. Möller holds a MSc. in Economics and Business Administration with a dual major from the Stockholm School of Economics and the Wharton School.
Mikko Hulkko advises both underwriters and issuers in connection with international equity and debt offerings, including listings on one or more securities exchanges.
His recent capital markets work has been mainly in international capital markets transactions of industrial companies and financial institutions in the Nordic countries. He also advises clients on general corporate and securities law matters, including compliance with US federal securities laws and Finnish company and securities laws.
Mikko joined White & Case's Helsinki office in 1999 and has also worked in the Firm's London and Paris offices. Mikko is currently sharing his time between the Helsinki and London offices.
He is an active participant in discussions surrounding international equity and a frequent contributor to the Firm's industry alerts.
Tuulia Nilsson first joined KPMG Transaction Services in 2010 and rejoined in 2015. Tuulia is involved in the Capital Markets team, focusing on IPO readiness evaluations, IPO due diligences and prospectus related work. Recent published Capital Markets experience includes advising in the Nasdaq Helsinki IPO of Kojamo and First North listing of Gofore and VMP and also IPO readiness evaluation engagements in several on-going yet to be disclosed IPO processes.
At KPMG, Tuulia has worked in a large number of financial due diligence engagements of both buy-side and sell-side for private equity and industrial clients. In addition, she has been involved in separation and restructuring engagements, and projects include both domestic and cross-border engagements.
