Mr. Villasante is co-head of the Corporate and M&A Practice in Cuatrecasas.
He represents a wide selection of companies, ranging from IBEX-35 groups to family businesses, multinationals, large industrial companies and private-equity firms. He has coordinated the legal advice of important business groups expanding internationally, and participated in relevant M&A transactions in many European countries, Latin America and the United States.

His participation in business organizations began when he was very young, and led him to become the Founding President of the Association of Young Businessmen of the Basque Country (AJEBASK). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Business Confederation of Vizcaya (CEBEK), Chairman of the Energy Commission of CEOE, President of the Business Creation Commission of CEOE, and President of the Spanish Confederation of Metal Business Organizations (CONFEMETAL).

Sergio Galvis is a leading corporate lawyer in the United States who is known for his cross-border work, especially in Latin America and Spain. He joined Sullivan & Cromwell in New York after graduating from Harvard Law School and clerking for the Honorable Lawrence W. Pierce, Second Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, and has been a partner of the firm since 1991. He is a member of S&Cʼs management committee, oversees the Firm’s recruiting function and leads its Latin America and Spain practices.
Sergio has worked with clients across more than 25 countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas on hundreds of significant matters in a broad range of practices, including shareholder activism, corporate governance, M&A and private equity. He also regularly works on crisis management, criminal defence and investigations, workouts and restructurings, sovereign financing, capital markets, and project financing.
Marta Martínez is the Chief Executive Officer of T-Solar, a Spanish renewable company focused on the development, financing & construction, management and operation of Solar generation facilities.
She is an entrepreneur, being a co-founder of the telecommunications company Comunitel in 1998 (currently part of Vodafone) and also co-founder of T-Solar in 2007. She started her career at PwC and held various management positions in the financial area of the automotive group Peugeot-Citroën.
Specialized in developing and financing projects and in M&A transactions, she became CEO of T-Solar in 2011 and was responsible for the firm’s internalization process, currently present in 6 countries and with almost 400MW of installed capacity.

Miguel Angel is part of the Investment team in Globalvia since 2017. He is responsible for new investments in Europe, with a special focus on Spain and Portugal.
Prior to joining Globalvia, he had several positions in FCC group for more than 10 years, where he was responsible for the development of new PPPs, project finance and divestment of assets. He has over fifteen years of experience in the development of PPP/PFI projects in different fields (transportation, environment, water and energy) and different geographies.
Miguel Angel earned an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and holds a MSc in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid
Alex created Grupo Albión in 1991 together with Paget Langford-Holt. With over twenty-five years’ experience in acting for national and multinational companies, Alejandra is responsible for Grupo Albión’s financial and corporate communications activities and has led advisory teams for capital markets transactions valued in excess of 120bn euro in sectors such as financial services, energy, transport and industrials.
Mr. Xercavins is co-head of the Corporate and M&A Practice in Cuatrecasas.
He has extensive experience in corporate law and M&A, particularly in joint ventures, business restructurings and private equity. He has advised leading companies in Latin America, Europe and the United States of America, as well as significant financial institutions in the framework of the restructuring of the Spanish financial sector.
Mr. Roig specializes incorporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity. He has extensive experience in the industrial sector, particularly in the areas of energy, transportation and infrastructure. He regularly acts for both corporations and funds, including international infrastructure, pension and PEQ funds.
Prior to this, he was Head of Accounting for over 6 years, joining the Group from Arthur Andersen where he was a manager in the audit practice focusing on companies in the FMCG, Retail, Logistics and Transport industries. He holds a degree in management and business administration from the Universidad San Pablo CEU.

Juan Orbea has been Head of M&A at Santander since 2015. Juan is in charge of operations in Spain and Portugal, where he has contributed in positioning Santander among the top M&A advisors. Juan joined Santander in 2005 where he was responsible for the European M&A Industrials & Retail team. During his 20 years of investment banking career, he has advised on a number of mergers, acquisitions and disposals involving large corporates, family owned businesses and financial sponsors. Juan holds a graduate degree in Business from CUNEF and an MBA from IESE (Barcelona) including an Exchange Program in Columbia Business School (New York).
Beatriz is a Spanish qualified lawyer since 2007 and before she joined Willis Towers Watson in July 2014 she worked at Linklaters where she was trained and qualified as a corporate M&A lawyer at their Madrid and London offices advising international clients, where she was involved in a significant number of multijurisdictional transactions and provided advice mainly to PE and Investment Funds.
Beatriz is responsible for generating, managing and structuring transactional risk solutions for private equity, infrastructure and real estate funds and corporate clients with a particular focus on Southern Europe and LATAM
Jaime Alba is Partner at Artá Capital and has been working at the firm since its inception (2007). Artá Capital is a mid-market private equity sponsor with 800M€ under management. Artá Capital is focused on LBO & Growth transactions in Iberia focusing on companies with an enterprise value range of 100M€-500M€. Prior to joining Artá Capital, Jaime worked in Citigroup Investment Banking.
Beatriz Gonzalez is the Founder and Managing Partner of Seaya Ventures.
She led the investments in Cabify, Spotahome, Bewe, Hundredrooms, Glovo and Clicars. She is Vice Chairman of ASCRI, Chairman of the Venture Committee and Member of the Board of Endeavor Spain.

Brunos' 20 years of experience in private equity (he joined Mercapital in 1999) were preceded by his work as a management consultant in McKinsey, and as financier at Sevillana de Electricidad (Endesa). At Alantra Private Equity he has played a leading or co-leading role in a number of investments in the chemicals, food, industry, IT, infrastructure services and healthcare sectors. He holds an MBA with honours from INSEAD, an MA in Political Economy from Northwestern University, and a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Seville/HEC Liège.

Edgar leads the asset management division of ACS-Iridium since 2013. He is in charge of M&A and investor relations globally for the leading infrastructure developer in the world. He is a board member of several JVs with financial investors.
Prior to joining ACS, he was a Director in KPMG Corporate Finance leading Energy & Infrastructure transactions, acted as external advisor to several private equity and infrastructure funds in the Spanish renewable energy sector and worked for Merrill Lynch International in London, participating in a variety of M&A assignments for Telecom, Media and Technology clients throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before joining Merrill Lynch, he had worked for 8 years in the Telefonica Group in Spain and Latin America.
Edgar earned an MBA from the London Business School with a major in Finance and Private Equity and he is a UK Financial Services Authority (FSA) Investment Adviser (CF21), approved to deal and advise in Securities and Financial Derivatives. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St Andrew's University in Argentina.
