Boris joined Capvis in 2008 and has 10 years of private equity experience. Previously, Boris worked at Oliver Wyman in Zurich.

Dr Michael Petersen is co-founder and managing partner of Cross Equity Partners AG, a Swiss private equity firm with the mission to support the sustainable development of mid-sized companies in Switzerland, Germany and Austria through equity capital, industrial expertise and an extensive relationship network – amongst others in the context of succession of family-owned businesses and corporate spin-offs. Before that, he was co-founder and managing partner of 3i Switzerland AG, a national affiliate of the international Private Equity group 3i plc.
Prior to his activities in these two Private Equity companies, Michael Petersen was working in the corporate finance/investment banking arena for several years, amongst others as member of the executive management of an international mergers & acquisitions company.
He has degrees in business administration from the Universities of Hamburg and St.Gallen. He is married and has three children.
Patrick Förg is the Head Origination in the Primary Markets team at SIX Swiss Exchange. In this function, he and his team are responsible for the origination of new listings through enhancing visibility and awareness of SIX Swiss Exchange as a listing location for Swiss and international companies, by managing and facilitating relationships with all stakeholders involved in the listing process and by acting as a capital market knowhow center for equity and debt capital markets. Before joining SIX Swiss Exchange, Patrick worked 12 years in the Corporate Finance & Treasury department of LafargeHolcim. He holds a BSc in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) and a Master of Advanced Studies in Corporate Finance.
Wolfgang Schwartzkopff began his career at UBS in astaff function of the CEO before assuming responsibilities in the division ofLeveraged Finance/Minority equity for Italy and Spain. In 1997 he joined ApaxPartners/Altium Capital as a Director in the division of Corporate Finance. Wolfgangoriginated and led numerous M&A and Capital Market Transactions and builtup the fundraising activities of the Altium Group. In 2004 he co-founded theSwiss subsidiary of equinet and runs the Swiss operations.

Pablo is Global Head Mergers + Acquisitions with Kuehne + Nagel, one of the world's leading logistics providers with more than 80,000 employees and a footprint of 1,300 offices in over 100 countries. Kuehne + Nagel completes around 3-5 acquisitions per year globally. Prior to joining Kuehne + Nagel, Pablo was an M&A advisor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Switzerland and Australia. Pablo holds a Master of Arts in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of Zurich and has passed all CFA exams.
Maria Luisa Siccardi Tonolli is a Swiss and Italian citizen born in 1975. Ms. Siccardi Tonolli joined Medacta International in 2002 and served as a member of its board of directors from 2003 until 2014. In early 2018, Ms. Siccardi Tonolli was re-elected as member of the board of directors of Medacta International, and then elected to the Board of the Company upon its incorporation in 2018. Ms. Siccardi Tonolli has served in various finance, controlling and treasury roles at the Group, including as Head of Strategic and Corporate Finance from 2003 until 2014 and then as Vice President Finance / Treasury Supervisor since 2011.
Currently, Ms. Siccardi Tonolli is also the Head of the Siccardi Family Office (since 2002). Ms. Siccardi Tonolli also serves as a member of the board of directors of Surgical Practice Resource Group SA, Lugano since 2015 and as Vice-President and member of the board of directors of Medacta for Life Foundation, Castel San Pietro since 2011. Ms. Siccardi Tonolli holds a Master in Science (MSc) in Business Administration from Bocconi University, Milan (2000) and has completed various professional training courses.
Ms. Helfer is a Partner of Cevian Capital. She is an Austrian national based in Pfäffikon, Switzerland.
Her day-to-day work includes working with the portfolio companies to identify scope for operational and strategic improvement, as well as identifying potential new investments. From 2013 to 2017, she has been on the board of directors of Valmet, a Finnish Engineering company.
Prior to joining Cevian, she was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company where she worked from 2004 to 2008.

Kurt, a co-founder, has 30+ years track record in corporate finance and successfully built up Alantra Switzerland. During this time, Kurt has executed numerous transactions for Swiss Mid-Caps across many industrial sectors. His experience includes financing as well as M&A advisory with special expertise in the defense of listed companies. Advised on M&A transactions totaling more than CHF 50bn.
Kurt is a board member of various companies, among them Stadler Rail and the Cantonal Bank of St. Gallen. Kurt qualified as a Bachelor in Economics and Business Administration in 1985 from the University of Applied Sciences in Bern.

Wolfgang Eckert has started his career in the Big 4, working in M&A, Valuation & Financial Modelling, Separation & Integration and Audit.

Christian is responsible for the oversight of DACH corporate investments. He also holds board positions at a number of ESO’s current investments in Germany. Prior to joining ESO, Christian was at Lazard as Managing Director and Head of Restructuring and Capital Structure Advisory in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Prior to Lazard, he worked for the private investment firm Anchorage Capital where he was responsible for credit, special situations and illiquid investments in the German-speaking region. Before joining Anchorage, Christian led Cerberus Capital Management’s private equity and distressed investment business in Germany. He previously worked as an investment professional at Doughty Hanson in London and Frankfurt and started his career at Merrill Lynch in London, advising numerous German, European and American clients on M&A and capital market transactions. Giovanna is a Partner at Altor Equity Partners in Zurich. She focuses on mid-market investments in the DACH region. Prior to joining Altor in 2018, she spent nearly 10 years at 3i in Germany, where she was active in the investment and portfolio management of companies in the industrial and business services industry. Giovanna started her career in M&A at Morgan Stanley and strategy consulting at McKinsey & Company in Frankfurt and London. She holds a BSc from Lancaster University and a Master from SDA Bocconi.

Inna Gehrt has been active in the Private Equity and Corporate Finance environment for about 15 years. She has a successful track record of deal making, value creation, and experience in mid-market deals. Before joining Mandarin Capital, Inna worked as an Independent Advisor for the Jacobs Holding AG, the family office of the Jacobs, one of the largest family offices in Switzerland. Ralph Guenther, Partner (joined 2011, 20 years of private equity experience)
Ralph is a member of Pantheon’s European Client Service team, focusing on Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and will also source deals for Pantheon’s secondaries team. Ralph was previously a Managing Director with bmp AG where he worked on private equity fund-of-funds and advisory services for institutional clients. He has a degree in economics from FU Berlin.

Ralph Betz joined EQT Partners in 2014 and is a Managing Director in EQT's Credit Team.
Prior to joining EQT Partners, Ralph was previously Head of Acquisition Finance Germany at GE Corporate Finance Bank SAS and Bank of Ireland. Christa Janjic-Marti is Head of Investment Services at Wellershoff & Partners. She is in charge of asset allocation, chairs the investment committee and develops and assists investment strategy processes for clients. Christa studied at the University of Lausanne and at Cambridge University for a Master’s in economics. She was a financial market economist at UBS Investment Bank in Zurich, Singapore and London before joining Wellershoff & Partners in 2013. Liana is former Global Head of M&A at Syngenta International AG, having joined in 2010. Prior to that she worked for 14 years in investment banking (i.e. M&A, corporate defence, capital raisings, private equity, project finance) in London, Tokyo, Zürich and New York, primarily with UBS and Nomura, covering a variety of sectors (e.g. chemicals, healthcare, technology, electronics, industrials, materials and transportation). She started her career with a 2-year spell in management consulting / strategic planning. Liana holds an MBA from IMD (Switzerland) and an MSc in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Italy).
David Zahnd joined Equistone in January 2015.

His specialities include debt financing, capital market transactions (related to debt, equity and hybrid financial instruments) and financial services regulations where he ranks among the leading experts in Switzerland. He is recognized by the SIX Swiss Exchange as representative of issuers. In addition, Markus Guggenbühl has many years of experience in mergers & acquisitions, restructurings and bank insolvency law. He is the head of the firm's Banking & Finance practice group.
Tom is the M&A Lead at Midaxo. He has led and worked on numerous M&A projects, many being cross border. Tom’s experience spans acquisitions, divestments, due diligence, integrations, VC rounds, valuations and IPO to the London Stock Exchange. In his current role at Midaxo, he leads the M&A aspects of business development – working across the development of M&A best practices, the Midaxo SaaS platform and training.
