CloseJudson Oswald is a corporate partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He focuses his practice on debt financing transactions. Judson represents private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and other private and public companies in connection with complex secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, including leveraged acquisition financings, senior and subordinated lending transactions, first and second lien, bridge, mezzanine and asset based financings. He received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his B.A. from Miami University.
Judson was recognized in the 2020 edition of Chambers USA for his work in Banking & Finance where clients noted he is a “very good lawyer with a great deal sense and technical knowledge.”
George Mueller (New York) joined KKR in 2009 and is a Managing Director of KKR, focused on providing principal investment and capital markets solutions for financial sponsors and corporate clients across the capital structure. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Mueller was with Barclays Capital where he worked in high yield credit research, credit trading and capital markets with a focus on high yield, leveraged loan and mezzanine transactions. Mr. Mueller holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Kevin Sherlock is a managing director and the global co-head of Financial Sponsors Group for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In his current role, Kevin’s team is responsible for the origination and execution of all debt, equity and M&A transactions for private equity firms on a global basis. He previously was co-head of the bank’s global leveraged finance business where he and his team are responsible for the origination, structuring and syndication of underwritten and best efforts loan and bond financings for non-investment grade companies across all industries.
Prior to joining Bank of America in 2014, Mr. Sherlock spent 18 years at Deutsche Bank, where he most recently ran the bank’s leveraged finance capital markets business and was co-head of the restructuring finance group. Mr. Sherlock also worked in Deutsche Bank’s mergers and acquisitions group and at Ernst & Young Management Consulting.
Kevin is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He received a MS in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a board member for Archbishop Molloy High School and Hour Children.
Kevin and his wife, Amy, live in Rockville Centre with their three children, Erin, Timothy and Meghan.
Mark Zubko joined Apax Partners in 2010 and is a Partner and Head of the Capital Markets Group (“CMG”). The Capital Markets Group leads the execution of debt and equity related transactions across the Apax private equity portfolio. Recent Apax investment experience includes AssuredPartners, Autotrader.uk, Epicor, Full Beauty, iGate, Kinetic Concepts, One Call, Orange Switzerland and Paradigm.Prior to joining Apax, Mark worked at Terra Firma Capital Partners, MidOcean Capital Partners and Goldman, Sachs and Co. Mark holds an MBA from Stanford University and has a BA in Economics from Wesleyan University.
